  1. Here are the photos I took for a job I did for a middle school in Wyoming!!!

Nice thing about textured vinyls is that they can hide some wall imperfections. Shutterstock has some good generic photos, as presented here, and the installation is nothing special. While it looks nice, it's still stock photos... which is fine if that's what they wanted. That could have been...
  2. falcon outdoor jr

I learned the hard way. You can turn it off, but run at least one good size print covering all the colors every day. I had a file set up in Flexi that had a simple faded fill and a couple solid fills so I could check the heads. Go for more than a couple days not printing, and you'll risk...
  3. CoCut and Summa T750

Problem fixed... it's always the simple stuff. The checkbox next to 'sort in x direction' wasn't ticked. Checked, and no more shuffling vinyl.
  4. CoCut and Summa T750

Recently I had to re-load all my software and drivers due to a computer crash a few months ago. Since then, my Summa, driven off CoCut out of Corel 10, was working fine. It had always "forwarded" a set length of vinyl before it actually cut (which was a little bit of a pain) but today, setting...
  5. 4 axis Routing

Nice, Bill! I've looked at Rhino, but never had the need for the 3D. I've played with ArtCam, have a full version, but actually went with Vectric due to it's simplicity (it thinks at my level). ArtCam is a little intensive to learn all the moves it can do! But, very nice work on your end for...
  6. 4 axis Routing

Offa! For those of us that have SB's... care to share how you built the axis and the software you're running it with?
  7. need some help with silvering?

I second the vote for the adhesive layer. There's nothing you can do about it outside of painting the piece as astro suggested. Did you do the forward facing (impulse blue) vinyl, or was it already on there? If it was already there... are you sure it's vinyl and not screen printed?
  8. black color offset 1 3/8 to the left

When you did a nozzle check and test print, did the same thing happen? Did you remember to enter a head rank?
  9. Glow-Lit Wrap Graphics...

Interesting idea. But let me throw another wrinkle in the mix. Unless the vehicle is absolutely static in a parking lot... it's illegal. Period. Even though it resembles nothing like an emergency vehicle, at least in PA, any accessory illumination to a vehicle (read: underbody halo lights...
  10. A couple (maybe dumb) questions about foam dimensional letters

Hard to tell with their photos being a little small, but my guess that they might be using either a laser cutter or waterjet on the non-porous stuff. Can't help with the Gatorfoam, though... I never use the stuff.
  11. Looking for mutoh 38" service manual

If you haven't gotten it yet, PM me with your addy and I'll send one over. It's for the Falcon Jr., but all the parts are the same. And you won't need to spend $50....
  12. How can I make it stick???

Seems I've offended enough today, I'm stepping out of the thread. Isign...you're taking an awful big offense to what amounts to nothing at all. Look it up on Urban Dictionary...the term certainly doesn't stack against the "N" word. Even the drifters here refer to themselves as that "R" word...
  13. How can I make it stick???

Not too often, but I have seen them. Usually a quick splash job of an existing set. I'm not bashing your drifting circuits, I just don't personally see it as a "sport".
  14. Removing old vinyl - Chemicals?

Go to your local equipment rental tomorrow and rent a hot water pressure washer. Come in tight and angled to the vinyl...it should lift and blow right off if the temps are right.
  15. How can I make it stick???

Around here drift cars = ricer. I guess it depends on what part of the country you deal with. Since you're in Florida, you actually may have pro teams there...but I have yet to view drifting as a sport. Now...back to the subject at hand....
  16. How can I make it stick???

Not entirely correct, but the chances of the ricer's drift kits being in raw form are pretty low. My guess is that it's simply black gel (or white gel) in which case there's no issue - simply clean and apply. The issue would be if the car for some reason had raw fiberglass bumpers - no gelcoat...
  17. tail light wraps see thru vinyl

Hmm...what gets me is the use of a foaming spray glass cleaner being used as an agent. I would have thought that the cleaner would destroy the glue over time...but I guess it's all about the bling, huh?
  18. Mini Cooper Strip Template

Make your own. I've seen several versions of the stripes, but only http://www.minimotoringgraphics.com/ has the "real deal". It ain't hard...

Thanks, Randy! That's who I bought the printer from, and their service contract is twice as much as GEI. Anybody else?
