I just don't get how any black can be called translucent, transparent, etc. Black is absence of color....absence of light. If light shines through, it isn't black. It's grey.

What about just vectorizing the blueprints and cutting blue vinyl? Most clear vinyls look like crap when viewed on glass....hazy, distorted.

When I'm looking for stuff like this, I always Google search first. 'plastic panel joiner'. ALL kinds of stuff came up.

I've had this problem before too, in fact with brushed silver background prints too. I think I had to save final print files as .PSD, saved with the proper output profile, and they always come out right. I was saving as .TIF and .JPG before and was getting various pinkish/purplish colors instead...

I think I remember this plate! When I was a kid, my dad had a '61 1600 MkII. Robin Egg blue at one time, then white. Then sold to guy in England who restored it, painted red and converted it to right hand steering. My grandfather also had a blue '62.

Most of these trade show products have no markings, since they are normally sold by someone other than the manufacturer. I've had many old stands show up and we are like "who the h*ll made this?" Some are pretty recognizable. Never seen that one before.

Most jobs requiring site visits, we can eliminate the trip by getting someone to send a photo. We have all done this long enough that we know what standard door widths/heights are, how to count ceiling tiles, etc. and can pretty much scale any photo to correct size to do a layout, give a quote...

Yeah but how are you going to cut out that square without cutting the paint? It can be done...but 99% of the time, you're gonna cut the paint.

No idea....but you should be able to hand create that in a few minutes.

Standard VHB grey tape is what we use. We have encountered maybe 2 times where it did not adhere properly. The paint was this new crap everyone is using with the additive to repel marks, dirt, etc. It's becoming more and more of an issue I hear, especially with wall murals gaining popularity...

Also try popping in a new cartridge. I've had times where the ink line was starving even though it had maybe 10-20% left in the cart.
