It's no wonder this agent does not value your time on this issue. You have set it up to be this way yourself. so, in my opinion.. you can't win. only thing to help you do is lose gracefully. don't just "ask" the boss if you can charge... instruct the boss that your "agreement" was too vague...

the size was originally requested to be 30" x 60", a flat horizontal rectangle.. (double face by the way) this layout would have been 36 x 60... or 30 x 50.. so I offered $850, or $750 ... (+ $250 for notched, painted, capped posts, plus assembly) they chose 30 x 50... - - - and then I realized...

ok... so you are here asking for design feedback... BUT, you are also posting that you "are lost" and you "were pissed" ...and that you might fire him... as well as some other comments about what he said he wanted, what he wasn't feeling... and what he made you do... SO... IF YOU WANT HELP...

yep... pretty much... just had to run to Home Depot for the 4x4's... ...stayed late, routed, primed & painted the posts that first night... ran the prints too... next day, just lam, cut & apply prints, mount finials, sign panel & bracing!

well, as the title says I was able to design this & have it ready for install in record time. The client is on the resort property where Maui's largest & most high profile golf tournament is held. They were late getting approval & finally ordered the sign Wednesday, in hopes of getting it...

oh, forgot to add... if being ready to wrap Monday is as critical as you make it sound, I would be soliciting bids for a printer to rush out some prints tonight or in the morning... losing all your profit sucks... but being "toast" can be even worse for business in the long run...

solid colors show banding worse then photos... how much do you print? every other day? & never saw this before? what type of files have you been printing last week & the week before? If i were you I would print small samples of some of the files that have printed successfully in the last 2...
