  1. Let me have it both barrels please

Marlene has a very good point but the customer named the business and that's what you end up stuck with. I've never seen a "Canadian Kitchen & Bath" store. It sure sounds stupid. What-are-ya-gonna-do? (shrug)
  2. Let me have it both barrels please

    Keep it simple.
  3. Architects should start out as signguys...

"Frustrating dealing with idiots who have degrees." Funny stuff Bob. I sympathize with your plight, visual.
  4. bar logo - help

    Maybe a different font?
  5. Best material to fill in HDU?

If I have to fill HDU, I use that white spackle stuff from the hardware store. Works for me. Bondo is way too hard to sand flush with the HDU. The best filler would have the same density as the substrate. Spackle comes closest.
  6. Is this anyway to treat a business friend?

Nonsense... just give him a nice thank you. Refer someone to him when you get the chance. That's all he did for you...
  7. Best material to fill in HDU?

Take the screws out, shove the panels together and put the screws back in. Paint over. They've had a gap for years... why worry about it now?
  8. Pub Logo

The little gray scale version is sublime. It just doesn't get any better than that.
  9. bar logo - help

This might not help but I found it after clicking a link in this thread and wandering around for a while. It's not boring. To me anyway...
  10. Tattoo shop logo.

Bottom one post 24. Nice logo. nix the owl... too complicated. The sliver of a moon gets the job done with minimal fuss. We have a tattoo guy here and he started dabbling in signs. He is an awesome tattoo artist... suuuuuuucks at signs. You couldn't read them to save your life.
  11. Nooooo!!!! F*#()ing microsoft.

No... get a PS3 and get Netflix in HD with surround sound. Wii sucks for Netflix.
  12. I know it's gotta be faked, but it's still pretty cool!

This one? I think they are too far away but who knows. It also looks like whoever that is would be well behind the action and the second shot starts from in front of the "birdman". (Maybe it was shot from the grassy noll.) Here's a better pick of the second angle camera person...perhaps. Looks...
  13. I know it's gotta be faked, but it's still pretty cool!

Looks great but I can't figure out where the cameraman comes from for the second angle shot. Here are 2 screen grabs, one frame apart. The first... no cameraman... the 2nd... it looks like that angle would need someone quite close to get that angle. There are other problems but that one is...
  14. Before & After on myself.

I find it interesting that everyone "just knows" they can remove that vinyl in next to no time. Jill's been at this sign/lettering stuff a while. If she says it's hard to remove... it's hard to remove.
  15. Organic Lawn Care

What about fading the text from brown on the left to green on the right with one set of leaves and a root on the last letter?
  16. Organic Lawn Care

    What's wrong with OP?
  17. Organic Lawn Care

Bottom one but with green grass and green "the". Too many leaves and roots. I'd strip it down to one of each. The leaves on "the" and maybe the root on the "Y" as suggested earlier... or the "S".
  18. Before & After on myself.

#26 would look great without that True Value logo plastered over it. Would make a nice dimensional sign.
  19. It doesn't look that hard

I pour thinned paint back into the can.
