I picture a store with a sign like that having bars on the windows, bits of paper with lots of staples in all over the front and bums sleeping up against the wall and stains, lots of stains
the resolution makes it hard to see but it looks like the stroke of the "e" is different at the bottom of the letter and is wider. maybe they did something to it as they sure did crush the letters together
haven't had that problem. I've loaded in old files made back in 1999 and they always open OK. is this a new problem for you that just started to happen or has it always been freezing?
give it a try to see if it works. I'd like to see you or it to get it looking right then to just copy some of the ideas posted as that won't do you much good in learning to fix and balance out a design. the ideas posted have been good but only if they help you see what works and why. keep trying
the font you switched to has less going on with the letters in country then it does with the word floral. since the word floral has a lot of movement and country is so static, I'd go back to making the "C" into a flower with leaves like your first attempt and leave the word floral as is. also...
good grief, how did this simple "thoughts on my logo" turn into this mess? feel bad for the OP as hard to get any feedback or ideas when having to wade thru page after page of crap.
we've used Grimco for years and they are a good supplier as far as we are concerned. I have seen some posts on this site that say otherwise but most of those seemed to be partly the person's own fault and not so much Grimco.
where I'm from there is just one area code for the whole state. we have companies that use it in their name like "802 Honda". there are Euro bumper sticker as well as shirts printed with just the numbers 802.

now back o topic, why blue dog? is it a political statement? a blue dog is a conservative democrat. are you or do you have a dog that is blue? always wonder when I see a name the whys behind it.
