I don't remember hitting the bold button.. Anyway, Yes I'm runnng it on Parallels, seems to see the USB plotter so far and the dongle is lit up I should be good to go if I can get FS stable. So I'm still waiting for the MS update to finish - yeah it's been all day now. Good thing I'm not...
Update, I'm in the middle of reinstalling FlexiSign (Windows 7). Windows also doing 2 huge updates which has taken most of last night and going on most of the day today. What's up with MS? Man I'm glad there's another option - Apple. Not perfect no but for my sanity they run so much better than...
I had to do all the updates to the OS ignorer for FlexiSign to run at all, including the Sentiel driver things, which works. The OS seems to run fine on startup and so do all the other preloaded apps. FlexiSign is the only app I have installed. There are only 400 or so fonts but I'm going to...
I get windows 7 launched but as soon as I launch FlexiSign the creeps to a crawl. Takes forever to open a file, move, delete, etc. Planning on reinstalling - any thoughts?
Called Flexi and they were pretty helpful. i had to do all the Windows updates and the Sentry thing and after it worked, on a Mac! Once I connected to cut it worked. I haven't got this setup into production yet but should be goo to go when I need it.
Well, stupidly or not I went with FlexiSign upgrade. As I stated before, I am trying to run this on a Mac using Parallels/Windows 7. As I suspected the Key, or dongle, is not being "seen" by FlexiSign when I launch it.
I have tried to get the machine to recognize the USB dongle but there is...
My designer primarily designs in FlexiSign, so yes we do have a need for FlexiSign. I'm more of the output guy and do all preproduction in illustrator (Mac) then print using VersWorks (on PC on my machine via Parallels).
I just realized that buying Flexi outright is like 2,000, is that right...
Not too worried about memory usage as it will mainly be cutting, not printing.
Is the "year" price just one year that you have to pay then you have or would you continue to pay that from then on. 2 years, 3 years etc?
I get the advantages of upgrading but I've had 8.5 running on my Mac and...
Whoa - doing a huge upgrade of a new MacBook Pro to FlexiSign (on a Mac running Parallels, El Capitan (10.11.1)
Should I go with Windows 7 or Windows 10?
And, has anyone even done this?
How do you get this curve? Other than endless trial and error method is there a better way? Also we have different vehicles that we're doing lettering on that top curve.

...was more what I was thinking... if it works
I have a Roland 540i. Wondering if anyone has made an inexpensive take-up reel. I can think that I would use an empty tube and probaly tape the lead edge to it and turn the tube as it comrs off the heater. I'm looking to do this without drilling a bunch off trial and error holes in my pretty new...
