Well the lam has more to do with being cast or cal but I'm not familiar with liquid lam at all. The stuff sent to us doesn't have air channels in it, least if I campare our #m air reaease stuff the backlooks different, no air channels. The people that produce it say "50 vehicles" are lettered up...
This was an install job for a customer. We had a hellofa time installing this stuff. It wasn't air-release and the first panel we laid down had a bunch of bubbles. Ended up using water as we saw no other way. Came to us masked, which we removed. Anyone have any experience with this stuff?
We had a hellova time applying 3m screen (pre) printed vinyl with a liquid lam. It was very brittle (about 2 years old) and wasn't air-release. We ended up using water but the deep channels didn't hold very well and hate using water but couldn't get it to work without. Any suggestions, tips on...
I just updated to Windows 7 Pro. I have a VersaWorks 3.03 disc from our original purchase and it isn't installing. I get a message saying it can't run the initialization file. I'm getting a newer disc but it sounds like an admistrative thing. - any thoughts?
Little late to the discussion here but what I found was when I do a big tile job you can only do a sometimes one tile at a time; even with RIP while printing on. I also find if the panels are too big for the media, meaning if you're in Clip/Tile and you're clicked on Manual (by default) the...
We're running Mac based 8.5 which will no longer be support. We do also use illustrator but one in our shop prefers Flexi as she has run it for years. I would need to either run Windows 7 on a virtual machine, which also isn't supported by SAi. Fellers is only selling the cloud which with DSL...
I've cleared out the temp folder but we're still getting this message. Any thoughts? MacBook Pro, 2.3 Ghz, 4 GB (virtual) memory, 320 GB HD-200 GB available
We're trying to replicate a former signer's job where they used a 4.5"x4.5" x 10' wooden sign post. Does anyone know where I might source either PT, oak that size? They took the edges off each corner and their paint job doesn't have any cracks!
Thank you. Those are pretty much what I had in mind. I guess the thicker 4mill stuff is easier (for rink staff) to apply as well. Also an embossed lam.
Customer is asking about getting prints etc for hockey rink: dasher boards (the boards in a hockey rink), center ice graphics and pounced patterns. Does anyone have any suggestions on vinyl types etc?
Does anyone have a better method of installing Snap Trim?
I've been using an edge sealer then a bead of silicone on the inside of the C 1/2" channel. Sometimes this works but I just had a job come back where the silicone didn't seal out the water and the Lustrboard has delaminated.
We use Mac but run also XP on one which run VersaWorks (Parallels). I like it because Mac is so much easier to deal with as far as security and just day to day stuff. Saying that, in the future I may got with a dedicated PC for the VW side of things; as long as it "sees" my Apple server. I'm not...
Braper is from Fellers. Craft paper has no plastic "side". I find with Braper it starts to wrinkle almost as soon as you start laminating.
I know some people don't use it at all and I usually cut it before running anything long and try to keep the lam and vinyl the same width, otherwise it...
Client wants to put some decals on the dashboards of their fleet - anyone know a good vinyl for that? It would be digital printed and probably laminated.
I apologise in advance if there isn't enough information.
We have a customer who wants to put reverse graphics on the inside of his office windows. The windows aren't tinted and he wants to be able to see the graphics from the outside. He would like to use perferated vinyl. We have a Roland vp-300 and Roland SP-540 with cold laminator. Any tips or...
