Wow, I didn't know my simple request would generate so much discussion. Thank you all for your time. I did eventually get an answer. I thought there would be more or less an industry standard for vinyl wrap installation (which apparently there is). My request was spurred by the fact that we are...
I know what our cost for the install would be using sq footage with us installing it. Are you saying tack on an additional $3/ sq ft. Or, minus out how much we would charge ourselves (we own the business) and and charge about $3/ sq ft for the sub?
We usually do the wraps ourselves. I'm asking because we're getting more work would like to hire a subcontrator to do the install. Usually it would be per truck, or by the hour. If you can't wrap your head around using 30", give me the 54" or 60" answer.
The simple question was "how much to pay a sub to install a 20' box wrap". Your answer was "Probably somewhere between what he quotes and what you expect." A smart *** answer. Second answer "someone is going to wrap a box truck with 30" Panels?
I'd charge a lot." Another smart *** answer. So...
Mike "Pro", if you look it say "Sales, Marketing, Pricing Etc.", did I miss something or are you just another smart ***, as is with 90% of the replies? So I need to pay to be a member to get a straight answer in here?
Yeah, we have a 30" printer, and yeah we do it all the time. Sorry we don't have a 60+ inch printer. If you want to buy one for me that would be great! The overhead is lower and it fits in our shop. You mind getting around to a sensible answer now?
We're in Maine so not sure how this might trend nationally but... We have a few projects coming up and were wondering how much to pay a sub to install a 20' box wrap. We would have all the vinyl, 30" 3M.
Thanks! It's a fleet so I doubt they'll be waxing them. If they ask, the soot thing will be a good comback. I just wondered if anyone has had this problem/solution.
We did these trucks about 3 three years ago using Oracal 3551 RA, Oraguard 290. The graphic is up in the corner of the trailer where the exhaust comes out and is turning black as a result. I see fully wrapped (tractor) trailers out there and they are clean in that area. We are using 3M now but...
Ever since I did a recent update I can RIP/print the job but if I shut everything down, go home next and get ready ti cut the job I get a warning that it can't find the original file. What the ...??
It's a VP so it's prob out of warranty. We're the second owner. Still cleaning too much. Black print head has a lot of missing dots but still prints pretty good. They were going to replace the chip board that all four readers go into. Not happy.
Ok Ok - I love OEM too. This is a forum - I'm looking for FEEDBACK - not wisecracks. I just went through like 8 of them due to the machine cleaning too often - which they're still trying to resolve, having something to do with the ink chip reader. $100.00 on wipers on one job - yeah that's a...
