We use a new Mac running Parallels/VersaWorks. Works well most of the time. You will have issues, as far as speed, using both Parallels on the PC side and Photoshop on the Mac side. I just try not to.
Neither of those work. Still stopping to clean. I know the file is probably too big but I don't dare delete it at this point. Seemed to get it to work last week but when I turned it back on, and replaced an ink it's doing it again. Replaced chip with old chip, still doing it.
It is set to none. Finding it has to do with the chips. I took one off an old "good" cartridge and now it runs fine. These are new Roland inks too. Will update firmware when I can. Any other thoughts?
Just replaced a black cartridge and now it stops every 20" or so to clean - yes it says Cleaning>>>. So, chips, firmware? It's 3.0 and will update it but the Roland site is down. What if that doesn't work? Any other options?
I have a big image file placed in illsutrator but when I bring it into VersaWorks it's not there. There are are other elements in the illustrator file like type and boxes but no transparencies that I can see. I tried flattening it and it's too big to rasterize.
I wish we had a 48 sometimes but a 64, no way. Most of the stuff we do we use 30" vinyl. For wraps it does mean more panels but less overhead. Beyond that the printer/cutter VP-300 we have works very well. Why have two machines when you can have one that does the same job(s). If you don't have a...
We got this stuff from fellers. You use a foam brush and apply it in the contours, wait for it to set-up and then apply. Problem solved. Use in on edges too; like the wheel wells.
Thanks, I'm also reading that you shold take off the sharp edge as paint won't stick to a pointed edge. Just a slight sand to knock off the sharp edge.
We've tried 2 part wood "bondo", priming, painting, and using vinyl to close it it and water always seems to get in. Anyone have a foolproof way of doing it?
I have two scraps of signfoam and would like to glue or bond them together to make one larger one. I will be using cnc to make a 2-sided sign with it. Shold I use 2-part epoxy or some other glue? I have tried to make the two surfaces as straight and smooth as possible.
