  1. Fuel Tank Graphics & Pricing

I hope you are using cast. The last one I did was $500. But that was 10 years ago, hand-painted. Love....Jill
  2. Old School Trucker Font

The Fontry has some great old-school fonts. Most are from the 1900s-30s but the Egyptian style was quite popular as a knock-out block font up into the 1960s. Signfont's Truckin' is also a real workhorse of a font, with many uses. Love....Jill
  3. Don't forget - Wrap & Rap Meetup - 3/10!

Nobody ever sent me the info so I can't send a panel. But if you want to do a pull-the-name-out-of-a-hat type thing I can send the winner a panel IF they send me their address.
  4. Frosted Vinyl Help

I prefer Oracal's glass etch. I like the regular and the extra frosty too. I have used regular R-Tape Conform forever, tried the clear stuff once and it is not suitable for wet app. In fact, I'd rather have a boil on my @ss than ever use it again. I tried Splash once too, I will stick with the RT2.
  5. Dinosaurs?

My work is 95% cut vynull, 4% hand-painted stuff, 1% prints which I sub out. I don't think plotters are dinosaurs, well my new one isn't. But I did use a 4E until two years ago. Now that is a dinosaur. Love....Jill
  6. Scamed

    Hahahahaha! :) Love....Jill
  7. It doesn't look that hard

Thanks Gino. I am a turpentine user myself, but when I can get that Chromatic Edge flow enhancer, man I love that stuff. It is true about a new can vs an old one and the amount you have to thin the stuff. I only use a mahl stick when I want to look like a sign painter, and I never even use my...
  8. logo idea

Just make it an orange dot. Simples.
  9. logo idea

I think I'd still make the dot a circle to echo the circle icon.
  10. It doesn't look that hard

It is that easy. I can do it all day long. I'm self-taught so my style is extremely similar, but my Ss are not as wonky. Love....Jill
  11. Font ID please :)

    I knew it began with a B. :)
  12. Sailor's Retreat hand carved sign.

    Simple, clean, and elegant. Love....Jill
  13. Font ID please :)

    It's Fred's wife's fave but I can't remember the name of it!!!!! Love....Jill
  14. New Sign for Shop/Garage

I really dig the sundial idea. Welcome from PA, where you see a lot of those on the sides of barns, but only using dowel rods. Love...Jill
  15. logo idea

Just put it underneath. Mine is spaced that way to suit my drawing. I would make it in blue though. And I am not the design guru here, you have been given loads of good advice from folks way more knowledgeable than myself.
  16. Lusterboard signs from 07 are failing.

I have not had any failures, and I used Lustreboard on a HUGE park sign project 06-07. Over 100 signs. Knocking wood here. I don't see anything wrong and I pass these signs on a weekly basis. But that doesn't mean they are not rotting from the inside out. But then again, they are at least 5...
  17. logo idea

No ampersand, the P descender separates the two words.
  18. logo idea

I like the top one. I would eliminate the ampersand.
  19. For all you shops that bring the pooch to work
