Re Facebook. Yeah I noticed on other forums some members split off to spend more time there but I think Facebook is fine for chitchat and silly pics but no good for finding anything useful.

Mate I stopped getting involved in any small format print since it got so competitive.
Might be different in a country town though.
When I get cards done for my wife or myself I use Hero Print.
I just got 1000 cards with spot UV on one side for $130 delivered and they arrived in like 4 days.
I used to have a Xerox laser printer for years.
As Fatcat says it's just not worth the overheads to print stuff like that these days.
Get Hero Print or someone like that to do them.
250gsm isn't really heavy enough for cards.
