I have a VP540- 5 years old and going strong and a GX500- which I also love- and cut a lot of 14-18 foot long logos after printing. It drives me crazy to see it
tracking back and forth and back and forth instead of cutting a section and then moving to the next. Not only is it not efficient...
Vinylman has it right. I believe that the roller(s) are crowned- so it it is tighter in the middle than the outsides that may be it.
I have had 2 RS- and had to adj both of them. Once adjusted they are as good as anything... I believe. Gene
Yes there is a setting in VW you need to change- I forget which one but check the preferences > multiple printer support>

I run it at 80% power (higher warps the vinyl sheets and make for hard laminating) and the vinyl goes directly onto a
spindle over a table leading into the laminator and then to a GX500 cutter. I am into production- the core with the
printed vinyl slips off the spindle by lifting it a couple...
I have been using this homebrew for 3 years I think with nothing but a slip action to maintain the slack. I had plans to build
either a elect eye or mechanical means to turn it off and on but it was not necessary and I moved on. It and the IR heater
are triggered by a motion detector which...
User since 1997- it has provided a nice IRA, paid off my 2 buildings in 10 years and I love it. It is up
to you to make it work for you. I have btw worked with Gerber, Adobe and the others on the way. Flexi rocks.
I would second Mosher- I looked at S-A-R before I went it on my own ( small business experience but no sign experience)
and have never regretted it. I rented a prime spot (not a strip mall) and figured it out- now I own that spot and have a
renter for part of it and I am pretty much retired...
I fought a similar issue for six months on my roland. All head prints were great-finally replaced the cyan head and prints like
new. Seven billion shots btw.
