  1. Graphtec CE50060 Pros & Cons?

Buy a used Summa T. Extremely good for cutting small stuff, lasts forever. We have a 10 year old T-140, talked to the dealer at a show about upgrading to a new one, he told us to forget it, and just buy new rubber cutting strip and tracking wheels, for a total of around $100. We'll keep...
  2. Need driver for Mimaki JV3-160SP

If it shows up in the Device Manager, I believe the driver is installed correctly, but correct me if I'm wrong... Have you tried finding the printer and installing it from SignLab? (Add new device or similar?) That's how it's done in FlexiSign, have no experience with SignLab.
  3. jv3 160sp

    send me a PM email.
  4. JV3-160SP Pull Battery to reset Date?

I see iSign is skeptical. We reset the date on ours, less than a month after we bought it, more than 2 years ago. We have not had any problems relating to the date on the inks, and have used inks that were a year or more out of date, but sealed at the time of install. Our supplier...

    Try eBay.
  6. Epson GS6000 Discontinued???

  8. jv3 - came in this morning and it is still on?

Oil the wiper rails, then ink will not stick.
  9. Mimaki JV-160 SP, Damper Replacement

Your head is probably clogged from sitting without ink. Do a long soak.
  10. JV3 Error 10 - wtf???

We only get error 10 right in the beginning of a print, and usually only after aborting a previous job, so no big deal as long as it's discovered early. Then rebooting the printer fixes it. Is yours doing this every time?
  11. I'm bored . . .

    Is it Jazz?
  12. New guy from The Grand Strand, SC

Welcome! I used to live in Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach... My (ex) wife had a house on the beach. Nice area! ex "Conway Bomber" / NAIA
  13. important legal questions... (with a degree of urgency)

Man... You're in a bind. If you let him go, he can take revenge, and you'll have the Feds taking all your computers. Not for long, maybe just 3-4 months... Same thing if you bring in the cops. I think you need to have your lawyer or a notary public present, have the "friend" sign a...

I have a nice pdf. Send an email to me. You may be in a hurry to soak the head though before it gets ruined.

Hi. I saw you inquired about chips from Fieldcenter. Just want to let you know that removing and replacing the battery is better in the JV3, as you retain "near end" warnings, we did this a couple years ago, never a problem, have also advised others. I did not want to hijack the thread... Up to...
  16. Mimaki JV3- 160 SP

Try printing with no color correction to rule out software.
  17. The Ultimate Guide to Fixing Banding!

Morph1 is right on with the problem, every 8 passes sounds about right in 8-pass mode. Exremely consistent, all the way through the print. Then, print the same with color correction off, and everything is fine... go figure
  18. Mimaki JV3 - Never seen this before!!! HELP!

How do your test prints look?
  19. The Ultimate Guide to Fixing Banding!

iSign said to print RGB... (in 'nother post) Haven't tried it myself yet...
  20. Stop me from streaking!

Listen to iSign... We'll try RGB. I don't think this streaking is a bad printhead or damper or pump, because it's recurring at exact intervals, same with 2-pass or 16-pass. Also, "no color correction" usually fixes it. It may just be that we need to print RGB, and accept it as the...
