  1. Printing speed TrueVIS VF2-640 64" Eco-Solvent Printer

It's going to depend on which ink configuration you set it up with but my guess would be max speed is around 327 sqft per hour. That's the max speed of the VG2 series which uses 4 FlexFire heads just like the VF2. That being said, there could be some difference between the two such as if they...
  2. Need Help JFX200-2513 Printing Ghost Lines

What firmware version are you on? If it's 2.1 or below, I would update for sure. They had issues like this in the earlier firmware. They are up to 2.7 now.
  3. Epson S60600 missing 1 nozzle

I'm not 100% sure on an Epson but I work on all Epson based machines. Usually I just bend the tube coming out of the cap top and put some tape around it to keep it closed shut. Then fill the cap top with cleaning solution and park the head. Maybe someone who has done it on an Epson can shed some...
  4. Epson S60600 missing 1 nozzle

If it's a new head, give it 24 hours as little bubbles can build up during the fill up that stop nozzles from firing properly. If it's older, try doing a head soak. if that doesn't fix it, it's probably physically closed.
  5. HEAD STRIKES, HEAD STRIKES, HEAD STRIKES

There is although most people are already at 100% most of the time but it's worth looking into. Should just be in the menu under vacuum.
  6. HEAD STRIKES, HEAD STRIKES, HEAD STRIKES

That's one of the drawbacks of the SP300. Only one head height option. I would clean out the platen so the vacuum can pull as hard as possible and then play around with the heat settings. Too much heat will cause buckling and head strikes as well.
  7. Need Help proxy address for HP315 connectivity

I agree with balstestrat except instead of a router, get a switch. The internet shouldn't have anything to do with your local network but from what I am understanding, you are using the modem as a router essentially? If so, getting a switch and plugging all of your local devices into it and then...
  8. Funky colors from CAD type programs.

I took a look into it because I was curious and it looks like a lot of CAD programs use a color space called, TrueColor. My guess is that this color space just doesn't translate to the standard Adobe ones that well. The advice above might be the way to go. Just mapping colors in the RIP.
  9. Anyone had heads replaced on a S80600?

Most people get 3 to 5 years out of a head. People who get less usually either have bad maintenance practices, are using non-oem ink, allow the printer to head strike too much, are operating in an improper environment, or are just plain unlucky. In my experience, if you are using dye sub ink...
  10. mimakie cjv150 - not cutting properly

Make sure the offset setting is set properly. It is a specific number related to the blade angle and you can find that info on Mimaki's website.
  11. Moving Mainboard from a Vj-1204 to a VJ-1304

Yeah Mutoh locks their boards into the version that is first installed on it. As chrisphilipps said, the main board on the 1304 could be fine and just need a fuse or something. I'd either get a head for the 1204 or try to fix the 1304 board.
  12. Turn around time..

My first boss in the sign industry told me to never let anyone know how fast you can make a design change because then they will just try to design through you and you'll never get any other work done. Same goes for making signs. If you want it in 30 minutes, it's gonna cost ya a lot more...
  13. Need Help RE640 and VS540

It depends on the condition of the machines other than the heads but they would be worth a couple grand each to someone who wants to fix them up. These machines aren't really something you want to use casually. The more they sit, the more problems and money you will have to spend to repair it...
  14. Weird Ruler being printed

Yeah head heat confirms something is shorting out in the head. A new head will fix it for sure but sounds like it might be the end of the road!
  15. Weird Ruler being printed

Since changing the cables changed the output, it could be that the terminals are dirty. I usually give them a good air dusting, swab them down with a lint free swab and 90%+ alcohol, and then air dust again. If that doesn't fix the issue unfortunately it's probably a fried head. Could be the...
  16. Need Help Web site domains

SEO is more important when it comes to traffic growth. In my opinion it's not worth the money for the premium domain. One good example is Frontier Airlines. Some internet company owns the domain so their actual URL is FlyFrontier.com. If you search for "Frontier" in Google, FlyFrontier.com shows...
  17. Ink leaking from Mutoh heads

Ink dropping out of heads is usually a damper issue but it can also be caused by anything that messes with the system's pressure such as a bulk system. The head doesn't have macuh to do with holding the ink in at the end of the day. It's the dampers' job to do that. Since you're talking about...
  18. Mutoh tech with Err 79 commu.

CR Encoder error means either the encoder sensor isn't plugged in, it's not straddling the encoder strip, or it's just broken. Error 79 means the cable between the main board and heater junction board isn't plugged in or one of the boards is failing to communicate. The cable looks like an...
  19. Weird Ruler being printed

I'd start with the encoder to rule it out although I'm thinking it's an electrical/data issue. Have you had and electrical surges recently? I would turn the machine off, unplug it, wait 15 minutes, and then take the head out and examine the head cables. If they have ink splatter, corrosion, or...
  20. no color from one printer head roland sp 540v

If you didn't fix the issue that made the fuse pop in the first place, it might have popped again. Make sure you are working with themachine turned off and unplugged. Then wait for about 15 minutes before working on it. Then check the head cables on both ends for damage, ink splatter, or...
