Does the machine initialize and do it's regular thing when it boots up? Or does it just become scrambled and then does nothing? If it initializes properly the main board is probably good. If it just doesn't do anything after, it's probably the main board.

I'd say if you can get your hands on a panel board (it's the board with the display and buttons on it) that's what I would do first. If that doesn't fix it, it's probably a main board issue.

We sell the head with a free set of dampers. The only thing you want to check is the head cables. If they are damaged, dirty, or corroded in any way, you should replace them. -Vanderj

There is a fuse on the CR board as well that can blow. It's the board that is above the head on the carriage. People tend to not know about that one. Other than that, if nothing fires at all, 99% of the time it's a blown fuse, the other 1% is either the main board being damaged in some other way...

That type of bulk system is great except it's one weakness is if any air gets into the mid cartridge, it throws the pressure off. My guess would be it wasn't completely air purged during the install.

In that case, your computer's IP needs to change to match the first 3 sets of numbers but the last one should be different. I am assuming that your computer's IP is something like 192.168.2.250. You need to change that 2 to a 1. Are you setup through a router or directly to the printer?

Mutohs have always had issues with the IP address resetting for whatever reason. Try using the default IP address so that if it does reset it will always be the same. 192.168.1.253.
