As the market gets more digital such as LEDs for anything flat or some curve mainly for the business that still have stores. The hand made advertisements will become more popular & demand will hold strong, I see the younger generations wanting to learn because digital is way beyond affording...

Well if it is for a punk rock band it might work. For a salon sorry, thick black outline around red turns to mud add graffiti font, wondering if this is a joke. Salons are a elegant place for women even if Gothic customers.

This year I switched, mainly case of cost at 1st, but now find the solid core is better, & yes it does come in thicker sizes but cost jumps, & not had the opportunity to test.

All 3 are good choices. All 3 work better with 2 coats

The old one was more readable, The new one just does not give a good professional business image, reminds me of Colorado's logo. A sign shops logo should be way better unique or way professional image, old one was at least readable but plain this one is nether but modern.

I like the 1st & 2 one posted, 2nd one mostly for the cleaner look, easier to deal with, also with a bigger phone number on front fender. I'll vote for less is more. The 3rd one is just to dark looking for no reason.

Isn't this the reason you want to go to just design .... This is a common thing ... I always get people doing the same, bouncing ideas off me, & of course someone else does them, they even try to get me to design or lay it out. Just move on. Go after your advertising design idea. study more...
