Well no...it printed ONE set of reg marks, but in order to cut it needs 2 sets..one for 1st group, one for 2nd group. Makes no sense....if you nest 2 jobs, and it prints 1 set of marks, you should be able to cut by using that 1 set of marks.

So I tried nesting 2 print now/cut later jobs....the print jobs were nested, properly, but little did I know Flexi does not nest the CUT jobs, so voila! I go to cut the job after laminating and they are separate jobs....so I have a roll of trash. I guess it would need 2 sets of reg marks, but...

I believe the PerfCutContour 'color' is a gray and should be in your default palette. So if you create an outline for your perfcut, give it that color, and it should interpret as the PerfCut and perform after all is printed and contour cuts are complete. I haven't really used this feature but I...

If in Versaworks, It's Job Settings>Printer Controls> Other Controls> Vacuum Power... choose either normal or strong

The separate contour cut part will always 'hold in list' no matter if you send the print job immediately or send the print to 'hold', as long as they are sent as Separate Jobs, which should be your default setting to begin with.

I normally open the PDF in Photoshop and save that out as JPG or TIF. Photoshop doesn't try to replace fonts...now if you want to edit the file, this won't work.

I have this problem with many jobs....anything under say 1" is going to be hard to plot...so I end up cutting the small text from 751 and placing where it belongs before taping up with the main graphic. It's extra work but I have found cutting laminated 180 to be a pain.

I have a client needing an install of their prints, on Oracal 3631. Which I believe is perf, and is discontinued. Am I right? Should I be concerned with this as it has to be some old stock and may not stick too well? I'm a little worried....will see in a couple days.

Oh just reread your original post....you use Type 1 or 2 marks then....I NEVER had success with those and only use 4 point and bomb sight.

You use bomb sight or manual for registration? With 4 point reg marks?

Confused....creating a sign package or sign criteria? Two different things I would think.
