I have had to switch vinyls. Now getting 3M with 90# liner and have so issues. Heat causes the thinner cheaper vinyls to warp and distort more due to the thinner liners.
Well it isn't untrue here. Have tried 2 gloss materials, ran it with so low of heat the ink could wipe off. STILL has waves in it.
Running matte banner with no issues. Guess your machines are 'special'.
Also what kind of RIP and what profile are you using? Could be the ink limits for the profile are not correct.
If it was one vinyl I'd say it was bad vinyl, as I've seen it before. But not from multiple. Has to be profile, RIP settings, or bad ink. I assume you bought new ink carts.
Having this issue as well...I'll try dropping the cure heat a little. Just wasted a whole sheet of decals because the cuts don't line up. Normally, my contours are dead on (with Roland prints). Now it seems everything from the L260 is giving me trouble. And I used 4 point laser alignment.

Wasn't "shooting the messenger"....and he hasn't saved me anything because I haven't been offered a solution other than wiping an entire roll of banner material with alcohol.
After some digging around and talking to others, it seems there really is no gloss banner material than can run on...
