TIFs can do that if they have been saved with ZIP compression sometimes, or if the checkbox for Save Transparency is left on, IIRC.

ALWAYS, ALWAYS run a color test strip, laminate it and view outside. Lam always adds a yellow tint (3M anyway) and certain colors will shift. Calibration and correct profiles are the starting point, but always run test strips and laminate to view in daylight.

Cracks me up when people look for critique/input and then cry to us when it isn't what they wanna hear. I know bad design when I see it, even if I did it. Do something else, then come back to your design and look at it as if you'd never seen it before. You'll change your mind, I guarantee it.

I would like to know who all uses SignVox and how slow it runs for you. What speed is your internet connection? Do you find SignVox servers to be super slow, no matter your internet speed? It is PAINFUL for us using it to do the simplest quote or order lookup....and we have a decent ISP speed...

I needed a specific colored metallic blue vinyl, but not much, and didn't want to buy a roll. So I printed solid blue on Oracal 8510 Silver Etch vinyl, laminated with Gloss lam, and BAM!! It is beautiful. I will do this from now on for any colored metallic looking vinyl. Try it! You'll like it!

What's your design software? If you have Flexi Pro, you have a rip. If not, I don't think there's a huge market for 'used' rip software. Have to bite the bullet at some point. And all it does is make you money.

Suddenly today, I can not get a print to finish running through Flexi. It craps out at different times; sometimes 20%, sometimes 95%. And an error pops up saying something about Data error. Running 10.5, to Latex 260. NEVER had any issues till this morning. No computer changes or updates...

+1. Leave extra blank material on 1 edge to tape hinge to the sled. Wet sucks.
