    first thought was out of aluminum, no problem to it cold or with heat not sure how another material would take the cold/heat to bend it. One of those tight dead lines that doesn't allow a lot of room to test theories

    Afternoon, Looking for these sign blanks, we would be doing custom graphics on the blanks. Non of my suppliers have these (the ones that have gotten back to me that is) Thanks, EDIT: one of the other shop guys has done this before, used PVC board heated and cooled into desired shape.

    How many fonts do you keep on your design PC? currently have right at 6500 on one design machine. Think I'm going to weed them down and store the unused one on the NAS, its too many and slows down the machine

    Dealer has been unmatched, has always been to shop within hours of issues. this machine has already had the motherboard replaced 2 or 3 (cant remember exact) times, the cables replaced, hard reset and re-calibrated cant count the number of times, new sensors, cutting head, blades, strips...

    Got a customer whom is using 3M double sided foam tape for interior signs, they now are going to be installing onto glass and are concerned that the tape can bee seen on the other side of the glass. Not a problem told them about using doubled sided optically clear VHB tape, they are concerned...

    if layered then printing is ruled out, Like MikePro said exact type of reflective is a different color, even if they are both the same color. so either get your sample book and go look to try and match or offer the best reflective you can and tell them that it probably will not match the other...

    Yeah we VS 640, got it June 2011, also and have had a slew of odd and unsolvable issues. Still having issues with the contour cutting. have had the internals replaced at least once and still a work in progress, :frustrated: besides that going good
  19. Folding banner edges

    We have moved away from traditional banner tape as it was not holding up to the heat, no matter what we did to the edge after hemming. we had several days hit 117 last summer. We now use VHB with a 212f fail temp and then as MikePro says squeegee the edge, good to go have not had one issue
