Feed some material out on the input end of the machine, and make sure that the material is feeding straight. I have had better success overcoming this problem using the "high-pressure" clamp setting & using high head height. Or possibly, try a lower temp setting.

It's that "non-centering" that was giving me trouble, I'll try the offsetting option next time. I've been aligning it right(left?) and marking the roll location on the printer also, but then you have to remove the media and feed it from the other end (which doesn't have the marks) to get it...

Here are some pics I just took, the lighting SUCKS for photography in here... It hits VERY close to spot colors with the 8 colors, and if I did better work on the profiling end it would probably be even closer.

I am very happy with the colors from the 8-color GS6000 here. Haven't had any issues with fading on anything (yet?), we've had it for around a year and a half. There are a few quirks that I wish were dealt with differently, but otherwise the colors that come out of it are pretty friggin' nice...

When you are loading material into the GS6000, you can only feed the material "forwards" (as it is a rear loading machine). When you are printing double-sided banners or small pieces,it becomes a hassle when the machine does not allow you to feed the material backwards a bit with the rollers...

When i click that button, I receive the same pop-up error message. After X-ing it out, the correct dialog appears, then once you select a profile you receive a subsequent error message before continuing... To me, it looks like the program cannot find the profiles correctly?
