  2. Employee handbook

Here's the real question, and obviously one that you haven't asked yourself yet. Why would someone just hand you a proprietary tool that they have developed through hard work of their own, and that is invaluable in how they set themselves apart from their competition. They had to work hard to...

  6. Paid breaks and other employee benefits

Employees have a salary. Not per job or per hour. There are weeks where we put in 80+ hours and weeks where employees have been here 20 hours.
  7. Paid breaks and other employee benefits

This discussion has been had here before, and as always, there are many varied answers. I have always been of the mind that hours don't matter - the job does. Any employees I have ever had don't have hours. We have a production schedule. Get the jobs done. That's all I care about. Why should an...
  8. I know you're not supposed to wrap with calendered...

  10. Gentle but Firm - Please?

Yup - the "S" was for signs. I like it fine with just the D as well. Feel free to run with it
  11. The best banner material?

If you want to avoid tape/heat weld/hemming/grommetting, you can go to the clear powertabs. We moved to them about a year ago and have had zero issues. Several outdoor banner up with no signs of excessive wear. Saves a ton of time.
  12. Full wrap solid color

There is NO WAY that thing is gonna cost $4-5k to paint. NO WAY.
  13. Gentle but Firm - Please?

OK - constructive criticism...Let's see what I can do  1. Don't use the word "stickers". It cheapens an already commoditized industry. Use "decals" instead, if you must use something. 2. The red triangles are heavy in comparison to the rest of what you are doing. The font choice is...
  14. I know you're not supposed to wrap with calendered...

It is fine for use on box trucks and short term (<24 month) applications. I wouldn't try to do any type of compound curve surfaces with it.
  15. Let me have it both barrels please

Layout is better - need more breathing room. Also, don't use a pre-fab panel. Create somethin unique...
  16. Buying out a competitor?

You are SUPER high. I'd offer roughly 20-25% of value on the roll stock, and around $1/customer in her files (to include all art files as well). Her customers weren't enough to keep her in business - why would you pay for them through the nose?
  17. Full wrap solid color

Yup - paint all the way.
  18. Our Shop Truck

Considering that you dont' have a choice but to use the *horrid* Sign-A-Rama logo, it looks good. Appears to be a clean, straight install. Nice work
  19. New name, logo.....opinions, kicks in teeth requsted.

My degree isn't in design - it's in Marketing. No offense taken
