Graphtec says that the usb port in my machine will not work no matter what i do. he suggested I buy a usb to serial port cable. I ran out to Tiger Direct and purchased this although the packaging says usbto db25 female paralel printer cable. It looks correct and hooks up right, but I dont have...
13 oz banner material is a bit thick when rolled up and yes it will start to curl up over time.
I have been usung this pet15 which is some kind of heavy double sided smooth good printing material, that i cant really call banner
ty gonna go check it out OK now it tells me the drivers are on my disk.... but the disk has no drivers for win7 ....
I guess I be calling Graphtec tomorrow.
anybody know how to configure the usb port? I can see no options in my settings although my plotter has a usb port...... Maybe I need a different driver as I could not find my graphtec fc4100-130 in plotter options
For the most part my shop has the typical smells of vinyl and solvent. occassionaly it will reek to high hell if I bring in a diesel truck. Some times I pick up odours in the air and it drives me crazy as to where they are coming from, but can never really trace them. i think the rooftop a/c...
OMG!!!! so now my old comp is still here and I want it still running as I like signlab5 and although I have loaded signlab8 in the new comp I am not comfortable with it yet.
Now in the old computer I was having some issues with the hard drive and I had all the info mirrored onto a new drive...
OK I think I fixed it.. Did a systrem restore to yesterday and now I can open files from the c drive. I guess whatever command line was in for printing across the network was making trouble.
I made no changes to the computer Flexi is in accept that we made the paper printer from that comp print documents from the main computer. I just tried again and it seems that Flexi works and will open files that are in the current drop down list, but if you click open it freezes, almost like...
I had a new computer installed today for my main work station. I run Flexi on a secondary computer nwith my Mimaki printer. When my Comp guy was hooking up my paper inkjet, I told him it was fried and I was transfering files across the network and printing them on a hp printer (the one hooked...
for me it is the tool of last resort. It is not always the fastest and makes a nice mess. If I were to use it for what you are doing I would use it mainly to remove the actual vinyl and then use rapid remover for the adhesive afterwards, as I feel that would be faster.
I use heat guns and a...
you guys can hate all that stuff and I guess I do too but what i really hate is taking a bite into a sub and chewing and then realizing theres a hair in your mouth. I just want to vomit on the spot. meals finished, I aint eat'n no more of nutin for at least an hour!!!!!:omg2:
wow, what a day. After trying to figure this all out it seems the doamian name was transfered into my name but the company that holds it never sent me a notice for renewal, or if they did it never got to me. Just paid the $$$ and now have to wait another 24 hrs to see if they get me back up...
I just had this happen on Friday and of course it wasn't on 10 or 20 decals but 1000 small credit card size. I had 5 sheets of 250. Once I noticed the double cut I let the sheet run to the end and then went back into flexi and deleted the addtional cut and then I recreate the sent file and send...
true except this designer was a good friend who basically was supposed to be looking out for my best interests.
His life has gone to chit the last couple of years and I sort of got dragged in the spiral as far as my domain name goes. You are correct that I should have control and had...
its not my host I found out.. It is the imbicile designer web guru who for what ever reason put the domain name in his name and apparently FORGOT to renew my domain from what I can figure out.
So naturally he has not responded to any of my e-mails. The problem is that I have a .ca domain and...
I live for golf you might say..... having said that, living up here in southern Ontario, the season is only 7 months long and thats stretching it till the first snowfall. brrrrr ( I have winter golf gloves lol).
Several years back I found this PC golf game (tw) and it came with a golf...
I dont think this will work frompast experience. I think that vinyl shrinks at a higher rate than static cling.
I did keep my heat low for fear that the cling would start to tunnel on me. maybe I try high heat. You think 50 45 would be good? celcius naturally lol
I have this small request for 1 18" x 24" clear static cling decal.
I priced it with the knowledge that I have printed on it before. I then realize that I only have white static cling in stock and under no circumstances am I buying a full roll. I decided to try the sheet form that is used for...
I wonder how often you guys experience your hosting company making email and web pages unavailable?
Is it a common thing for the sites to go down? I think this may be the second time this year that customers call me telling me that their e-mails to me are getting bounced back.
you technically have written it off as I am sure you paid yourself to do the design work whether you got paid for it or not.
does that make any sense? if you haven't paid yourself for it, then go write a cheque right now...BAM write off!!!
