The best way to repair a lifting decal is to replace the whole thing.
But if that is not your first choice:
Get yourself some 3M edge sealer, edge sealing pen or clear nail polish (your favorite brand).
Coat the adhesive side (just a light coat) - stick it down & let it dry
Seal the edge...
That red does look weak up next to the truck. Your green also looks a little light.

I do not think a thick laminate is going to stay on a banner for any reasonable length of time - especially with the customer is in charge of keeping it nicely rolled up.
Another alternative is to try to upsell your service a little. If you can, offer to do the install, removal and storage.

Deliver it to them rolled on a used core with written instructions to roll it back up on the core and store it properly so that the next time they pull it out it doesn't look like it spent the off season as a pet mattress.
Throw in some instructions on hanging it correctly...

If you are on windows you should have some version of Movie Maker.
It is pretty much click and drag - check out the help files or online tuts.

You would do the same and just remove the mask after setting the spaces between the rows of rivets - then hit them with the heat and roller.

What software app are you using to set the registration marks and cut with?
There is an option in the Cutting Master software that comes with Graphtec to add intermediate registration marks between the 4 corners to allow the cutter to compensate for bowing on long...
I did something similar but didn't have the handy dandy calculator.
I used Corel (it's easier to do pie segments with the ellipse tool) but should be easily doable in Illy.
Measure the diameter of the hole in the top of the cone (straight across to the outer edge) put that into "length A"...
