  1. Wrapping a glass block wall

That silicon sealer in spots on top of the grout/cement is going to be an issue. Even if you work it down in there with heat it is going to lift back out - sooner than later. Let the customer know and if he is aware and still wants to do it - drive on. wayne k guam usa

  4. Looking to buy a new printer!

The HP is not a good fit for what you want to do. It uses a water based ink set. Pigment or Dye. It can be used but you would be at a disadvantage to any solvent based print house. Only coated materials could be printed and everything would have to be laminated to hold up for even a short term...

One can hope. I just had the tech leave out of here. The pinch rollers on my 1304 started to swell up and turn to mush - leaving tire tracks through the print as they fell apart. The rollers are sold as single pieces - just the tiny little black tube - not the rod or the cleat that holds...

  14. Any way to print tiles created?

I don't see an option to do that in the vinyl side of Flexi 8.6. You could full screen the panel tab of the cut/plot window and then do a print screen to the clipboard and print that. wayne k guam usa

  16. Cart for roll media

How far away is your ceiling? Our layout/cutting table is under our indoor warehouse mezzanine so we just dropped 2 looped cords down from a cross beam at the head of our table. Slide the core onto a 6ft pipe and let it hang. When it is not in use there is nothing in the way around the table &...

  18. printing on reflective, does it stay reflective?

From another popular thread here some reflective does not remain reflective very long even if it is not printed at all...... We did some grayscale prints on top of 3M 680 (with lam) for a few security vehicles that came out nice and lite up fine at night. wayne k guam usa

  20. File Import Issues

Your machine has enough memory. The limit is within CS5, it can't rasterize very large at all. One way you can do it with what you have: Open the file in Illy and add your contour cut line there. You will need to create a spot color called "CutContour" and assign it to the path's stroke that...
