I purchased a new sponge to exchange with the old one. I see the old one is held on with double sided tape. Is there an easy way to replace this thing? I seem to be pulling piece by piece out.
Also the sponge just sits vertical along the back of the wiper parking station? For some reason...
its not that it sticks to the backer so much as it is very thin....both the backer and the film and they dont seperate from each other like vinyl or laminate, so when you push forward the entire roll jumps off the BS anbd the squeggee gets stuck. Annoying for sure.
Tried doing it last week...
I am pretty good with my big squeegee for normal lamination and applications to substrates.
I am afraid of this write on erase laminate.
Just so you guys know it is the brand that comes on a very light minty green backing paper which is very thin, and the laminate itself must be a 1 ml as it...
I guess what I forgot to mention is that I now tell customers who have these types of numbers that they better put the actual digits below or to the side as those with Blackberrys wont know the numbers easily....and these days thats a lot of possible clients
I use a Blackberry and far to many times I get a number and its a word for the last 4 digits. Has anyone else besides myself noticed that you cant do that with a Blackberry? :banghead::banghead::banghead:
I do notice that at about 30 degrees celcius and over, vinyl weeds extremely easy. It also can %$%$ up real easy to if it touches itself!!!
I would be a little nervous applying digital as I am sure it would stretch
Came in at 7 this morning to beat the heat and find a stoneslinger parked at my back door. I cursed a bit and wondered who's it was. There was lettering on the doors and front Rad protector, and it was the last thing I wanted to do in this scorching heat.... remove vinyl that is.
Customer...

I have a portable 11,000 btu air conditioner that has a seperate fan that would go in the window to exhaust hot air. I was thinking that by itself it could never cool the back down as the ceiling is about 25 feet or so, but if I just plug it in and keep it pointed directly at myself, back there...
Extremely hot and humid here today. The front offices and upstairs printer area are air conditioned (even that seems a bit lame today), but the back shop and the mezzanine are brutal.
I just spent 10 minutes weeding some vinyl and masking and I am melting.
I think I will leave early today...
I get this stuff all the time, and with some my suggestions work, with others they dont want to spend a lot so I make it for them and warn them and move on.
Heck I have a good customer right now who wants a 4 x 10 sign for a facility with 8 of their company names on it. I suggested alumapanel...
when I say being aggressive I do not mean to be an idiot!!! Writing a boat off is pretty dumb.
So long as you pay your taxes on time and always pay your GST and PST on time and your Employee tax deductions on time, chances are you will stay off their radar.
The moment they see spikes in...
Happy Canada Day you Canucks!!!! Heck I'm taking Thursday and Friday off....FORE!!!!!!!
As forthis HST..... from a business standpoint I am alll for it and can see why the govt instituted it.
How many of my customers would PST exempt themselves on signage and printing that they had no...
I guess you can call it a wake up call to keep a close eye on what it does from now on.
A shame for sure.....
I use Flexi but have not seen this problem before. When you say you forgot to convert to curves...did the original come from Corel? I wasn't even aware that you could open a...
