My jv3 130 spII is almost 4 years old and today I finally had a tech in to change the capping station.
He came and took a look and said my printer looks very well maintained.
I explained to him that I paid for it and I was sure as hell gonna take care of it although I felt I left the capping...
wow... I have one of those. Bought it years ago and I never knew it was for wind slits. I gonna go see if I can find it, but you know I will about 10 minutes after I finish the last banner lol
Mesh banner is very hard to read and these need visibility. I think a few slits here and there will work. They are not being hung so I figure they should last. I was more concerned with the proper way of doing it and I seem to be on track
These particular banners are being used by the police and they screw them on to polers at each end. I will assume 2 officers hold them up to warn the crowd of demonstrators as to what form of enforcement they will be using. I can see if it is windy that 2 people holding them up could be a...
I am doing 25x 36" x 12' banners and the customer wants wind slits. I have never felt comfortable doing this and I use a 6" galvanized circle to draw smiles on the banner, then I cut them. I always try and place them so they are not going through copy. I make the opening so that when there is no...
Hey Scar, as was said.... ef em all. Ignore it and keep your business to yourself. I know your a young guy so social networking is a must.
As to buying things with cash in full. I know from past experiences that it is not always a good idea from an accounting point of view to pay things off...
yup have had that happen only the roll is set in place and will not lift up...instead the printer prints the remaining graphic all in one line....one big strip of black!!! lol
I be around Jane and Langstaff
Cant say my workflow is any good though as I never did digital when I originally set up. I wish I had about 500 sq ft more these days as it is getting a bit tight
yes this is the case although I was told by the sales rep 33 metres. Thats how I calculated I needed 3 rolls. Thats OK, I can get 8 on a roll and just need 1 extra that I can use a left over roll here for.
I have to print 25 12' banners. I buy 33 (108.9') metre rolls (or so they say) and even with 2" or 3" gaps between the banners I can just fit 8 and I am all out of banner material.
It is one of the few times I have actually had a chance to see if a roll is what they say....NOT!!!
Oh...
I have been noticing as of late that a lot of darker colours seem to print ok from about the 25" mark out from the capping station onwards and anything short of that sems to get the slight light colour of needing a media adjustment. In a lot of cases once I have the lower section porinting OK I...
