Print to canvas - mount to foamcore. There is framer's foamcore that has heat activated adhesive on one side already (if you have a heat press). Then cut to shape. It cuts well as long as you have a sharp knife. I'd avoid any acid/solvent based adhesives though - they will eat the canvas...

There is rough material vinyl for brick/stone applications. It takes some serious tools and serious heat to install properly, but it can be done.

Are you doing the installation? If so, then no way in hell would I do that. If not, I'd just send him non-scale drawings with a note in the margins stating drawings not to scale. That's his *** on the line then, not yours.

I ended up going with JugleFile, which is Amazon based. Software runs $3/mo (much better setup than the online "file folder" stuff), and then it's $.15/mo/GB of storage. Seems like a solid solution, and there is no contract.
