My wife "built" a red in Flexi. Took about an hour of "mixing" and burning comps. She calls it Christmas Red and it looks great. We run a Roland with VW rip so you'll have to experiment a little.
Dark films or dark graphics covering all or most of the glass cause heat gain issues with IG panels. Laminate is essentially clear. To be absolutely sure pay a window film professional to do the calcs.
I've recently said this to more than one "client": I've grown quite fond of not going hungry and having a warm place to sleep and you're not helping with that.
Fun to watch them trying to think up a response.
Not enough pressure when laminating, laminating too fast or a combination of both.
I run our laminator dead slow. No problems with laminate not staying put. No silvering either.
It takes quite a bit longer working from a dinghy or launch, so I charge the same hourly rate. I have to travel to get to them so that works in my favor too. I've never been disappointed with the money I've made.
One thing I've learned when working on boats is bring a complete change of...
Our ancient Summa rocks small stuff. I just don't like weeding it.(old eye syndrome lol) One trick is to use 3M ElectroCut with the poly backer. Cuts and weeds like a dream. Not cheap, but worth it in time and decal savings.(most turn out)

He told me to go ahead with new panels. Funny thing when we loaded the old panels onto his truck he touched a corner and it fell off.
He just...

I also prefer the form factor of the iMac.
We have PC's in our shop too. One is...
Local tech college has PC's on a 3 year replacement cycle with many not making the 2 year mark. Mac's are on a 5 year cycle with most exceeding that.
That says a lot when you consider the amount of hours those run in a day.
Since semesters are now 15 weeks a design/graphics/production class is...
7-1/4" circular saw blades on our table saw. They're made by Oldham and are the professional series X-Cel carbide. Cuts like a hot knife through warm butter. We use the same style for ACM.
Get a separate cutter. We run an SP540V right now and it prints beautifully, but it can't cut long lengths accurately anymore.
Also with a separate cutter you still have the ability to cut vinyl should your print/cut rig quit.(and it will right in the middle of a huge job with a deadline)...
Ask ten business owners you'll get ten different replies.
It all depends on where you do business and what type of clientele make up the bulk of your income.
Demographics, Psychographics, Ethnicity, etc... all play a role.
You build a tailored response based on what works for you and your...
