I saw that on one of the cable channels on TV. It was all about people that won millions and ended up broke after a year or 2, one woman paid to have her husband killed. Now she's sitting in jail rotting......
The JV-33 & JV5 do not have the same heads, the JV33 has one head with 8 chanels and the JV5 has 4 heads staggered to make a 4" band.
JV-33 you can use solvent, eco-solvent, and dye based inksets.
JV-5 uses either solvent or eco-solvent
He might be doing small window perf. decals with an odd shape to them. You can allways get them die cutted or find a company that has a flatbed cutter. I'm not sure with the Roland print & cut machines, but maybe your teflon stip is bad.
Maybe if you let your perf. dry overnight you wouldn't run into these problems your having with your grit rollers. I never heard of anyone cutting vinyl first and then printing it, sounds backwards to me. And to think how many misprints your gonna have doing it that way.
I guess you can allways put the vinyl on the cor-x first, then print it and cut afterwards.
If you have to apply wet to such a small size, you shouldn't be in the business.
If your gonna switch to 3rd party inks, mise well use a bulk ink system to. Inks are much cheaper in 1 liter bottles then the carts.
I have used Lyson inks, but they aren't eco-solvent. I use to use there water base pigment & dye inks.
