In this case...and it's probably the only one....I'd remove the rivet/screws and letter it. Shinerite it horrible around rivets and even if you do heat them and get the to conform three weeks later the vinyl will have shrunk enough to tent them.
Warn him that his biggest problem with Shinerite...
Funny, because googling "50 signs for $79 signs 101" doesn't even pull up this thread.....neither does "cheap signs signs 101" or "yard signs 101". Instead it pulls up several hundred other cheap places to get signs.
That's way too high. The guy out of Florida who comes through town here sticking those damn things up does 100 for $99.

Watched a documentary on garbage the other day....Waste Management is getting to the point where they're gonna start begging for garbage. Apparently there's so much money in recycling they're making almost as much on that as they do on disposal fees.
Why didn't you raise hell with the people you bought it from? My first line of attack always starts with the guy who sold me the piece of shit. Make him be the one to get it fixed, replace it, or give me my money back.

One suggestion I'd offer is to invest $5 in a can of spray on Tire Shine/Cleaner stuff. You'd be amazed at how much better the pics will look and how much better the whole job looks when the customer first sees it if the tires don't...
If it's a simple smooth curve it shouldn't take much longer than a flat panel if you're mounting a digital print and I've actually found it to be faster doing cut vinyl.
I tried wedges, leaving them long, and some ridiculous tape/brace contraption a podiatrist tried for years. My big toes would get ingrown to the point I could barely walk and if I bumped something with my foot I'd literally scream in pain. Podiatrist after podiatrist would just trim the nail...
