What's always troubled me about Signs By Tomorrow is that they've got 180 franchise locations....all using that God-awful logo that was designed by a photocopy shop in the 80s.

So they got nailed for being unlicensed. You know what the qualifications were when I got licensed? Having enough cash to pay for it. Is being "unlicensed" all they could come up with to charge them with since "incompetent" isn't a crime?

We use the X-Rite Eye One Display 2 that we bought on ebay for around $50. It's not perfect but it does get us in the ballpark. One thing to consider is that if you're using low-end LCD monitors they aren't capable of getting the colors accurate.
