In your printer settings menu your computer/router I.P. address must match your printer I.P. settings. I use 192.168.0.254
Also, the subnet mask needs to be set to 255.255.255.0.
That's about all I know.
Hope the Roland people get back to you soon.
Right hand man who's worked here for 14 years is getting ready to embark on a new career. I've known about it for a while, but this weekend we talked and it's coming about soon.
I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons of hiring a total trainee, an experienced guy who can step right in and...
Appreciate all the info. Amazing comments.
Just sealed the deal with Summa. Bought the S class 75 D.
Shipping from Boston.
The Summa people in Seattle are very professional.
Very good experience.
Hang in, Arlo. I really feel for you and your family. Good thoughts going your way.
I liked your comment about your "legacy". Spot on, guy!
I think more and more about this same idea as I near the winter of my life.
Take good care and find peace.
Our little HS-15plus is wearing out. Not quite closing all the cuts and also beeping for some reason when files are sent.
So....tonite I'm reading up on three machines.
The Graftec FC series, the Roland Camm-1 series, and the Summa S Class cutters.
I need something in the range of 24", but...
This sign done by another local shop.
We're supposed to use the same font on another window.
Any guess as to the font?
Photo sent to us by the client. A bit hard to see I admit.
Thanks Gino, I'll give that a whirl. Seems like I dealt with this issue before and licked it, but apparently didn't make notes in our procedures manual.
(like I tell employees to do)
My failing. Can't get good help these days. Drat!
Does anyone know how to reduce tool travel when cutting?
Put another way, I'm sending a file to VersaWorks that is a cut only file.
It consists of many, many names for office doors. I've arranged things in my native vector program so they cut efficiently. (blocks of text stacked, etc.)
But...
You know, what's funny is people will call and want say, six 18"x24" coro signs. I'll tell them the "each" price and they kinda faint.
Then I tell them I can make (30) of them (our minimum for screenprint) for about a fifty bucks more.
That really get's them scratching their heads.
Wait...
Had a woman call the shop yesterday. Wanted a price on a 28"x28" sign for a garage sale of some sort.
Said it must be waterproof for outside usage. Emphasized that twice.
After talking about it for a minute, I told her we could do something for the sum of $56.00. A quickie.
She then said...
Hmmmm...that's what I'd call no leadership! (see previous post)
But, hey whatever. You live here in America and certainly have that right to not vote. No one's gonna force ya.
No, you're correct, you didn't say you wanted no leadership. But by not voting you're basically saying "I'm accepting any leadership".
That's my point.
