if worse comes to worse and they can't afford much, you can combine some clipart to make the image. all you need is a guy on a ladder, shouldn't be too hard, a kid and a Christmas tree. it will at least give you base to tweek out. if they can afford, so go with John as it will be fantastic...

I haven't said anything but since last March, I have dropped over 65 pounds. I also joined a gym and now work out every morning. I decided I wasn't going to turn 60 as fat old lady. looks like I may turn 60 in april as a thin, old lady instead...yippie!

it looks like once you got some info pulled from her you were able to put together a sign that meets her needs. your first layout was fine considering the info you had. it sounds like she did her best to give you the "feeling" she wanted the sign to give to those who read it once the info...

the Mike Stevens book is a classic and a must read. Mike isn't a member here as he died some time back in the 1980's, but his principals of layout and design are sound and are still a must know.
