  1. Individual MX Templates

Flame, I believe your Pyromedia and I was under the impression that you only sold the complete package ($800) which is fine if one is doing a lot of this work but for only one occasional job a $30 individual template is the only practical approach, do you sell individual templates? If so please...
  2. Individual MX Templates

Need to purchase an individual MX dirt bike template for the first time. I have found Hunt Graphics and Motosports Templates which both seem to have what I need. Can anyone recommend either of these companies? Anyone familiar with the accuracy of either companies templates? Any reason to...
  3. Roland SP-300V Printing Orange Instead of Yellow

Sounds like you have magenta ink backed up into the yellow damper. Simply print a 100% yellow square until it is printing solid yellow, artwork (square) needs to be CMYK. It usually dosen't take all that long and don't forget to select "Preserve Primary Colors" in the RIP so that it prints...
  4. Vinyl in smaller 4" and 2" rolls... buy or cut?

Or you could just order exactly what you need from Sharpline Converting or Universal Products and be done with it.
  5. Roland Versacamm

You'all oughta really let that go, long term harbored resentments can eat away at one's very own soul. :frustrated: On the other hand my PC-600 still works wonderfully, proving to be a very profitable piece of equipement for me over the past 10+ years, might I add "without any servicing...
  6. Rhino Cutting Mat?

I simply used some Quick Clamps to hold the mat in place and ran a router with a flush trim bit all the way around the table, worked perfect especially since my production table has rounded corners on one end. This is also my method of cutting down large sheets of polycarbonate for sign...
  7. Oracal Intermediate Vinyl

OK I'm gonna post these one more time, by this time everyone using Oracal media should have these or at least know where to find them. :thumb: Inkjet Media Reference Guide - http://www.oracal.com/products/_docs/qrg/qrg-InkjetSelector.pdf Laminate Films Reference Guide -...
  8. HELP!! Reflective

Not really following why you would add additional vinyl to the side, I think the 30" material would be sufficent for 25.8" image and crop marks. Here is a quick diagram showing what I was refering to, you need enough before and after front and rear crop marks in order to keep the media sensors...
  9. HELP!! Reflective

This is real basic but are you sure there is sufficent media left past the last crop marks to keep the media sensor covered?
  10. Used Versacamm

For some of us the 30" machine fits our needs quite nicely. You just have to take a good look at what you expect to do with the machine. If you go with a Versacamm check the test print carefully, especially the black. I would also do some print, lam, cut testing to insure that the optical...
  11. Thoughts on Roland SP-540i

If indeed everything is on the up & up a 19 thousand dollar printer for 3.5 thousand, isn't that a no brainer any way you look at it?
  12. No More Ugly Signs! Before & After

The text is "Bean Sprout" from Sign DNA. The font is somewhat modified, it is streached a lot and has a right slant applied. http://signdna.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_8&products_id=51 The ampersand is "Signwriter" from Signfonts.com. I simply do not care for the...
  13. It's official. I hate dongles

Never persued it but have wondered if you could possibly obtain the hasp from the hasp manufacturer in these cases. I believe Aladdin was the manufacturer for the original Flexi USB hasp (the red ones, got one right in front of me runnin 6.6 for my PC-600).
  14. No More Ugly Signs! Before & After

This was done just for the sake of not making just another ugly sign. Friend comes to me with his business card for some yard signs and says this is what he wants on the signs, ya right. I then showed him what he really wanted, he agreed. Lovin the new A & S Gingerbread font.
  15. Recommend ecosolvent printer/cutter

I agree, save up and find a good used SP-300V. I've had mine for almost 6 years and it's still working just fine, printing large graphics for an RV as I type.
