I poked a hole in the bubbles then just pass over them with the torch...bubble disappears with no chance of turning it into a wrinkle. Trimming them meant I mounted them on 4x8 10ml coro...I had to cut it in half with on the Fletcher cutter.
For the overdraft charges go talk to your bank. If you've got a history of not being overdrawn they're usually pretty forgiving ONCE. Explain the deal to them and see what they'll do.
For the bounced check the guys not calling you back because he's just going to have to tell you he doesn't...
You are converting your fonts to outlines, right?
I've always sent 300 DPI jpegs and have never had a problem. Printing something as small as a business card the resolution is perfect, no distortion at all.
UPS ran really late today. I got in 5 4'x4' prints from two different vendors (10 prints total), they showed up right at 4:00. The customer who ordered them was coming by at 5:00 on his way out of town, if they were ready he was going to pick them up, if not I'd promised him I'd deliver them...
Let me guess....if I letter yours for free you'll be sure to tell everybody at the racetrack...errrr....airport where to get theirs lettered. It'll be like a flying billboard for me, right?
Whatever happened with sponsorship? Didn't I see that at one point you were talking to a coro company about sponsoring this thin? They back out for liability issues?
I cut paint mask all the time for a custom paint shop around the corner and they've never mentioned a problem. I'd be interested in what caused it....might come in handy for stripping vinyl one day.
The NFL actually has a licensing agreement for pee wee football use. Don't ask me how you get it but I've had three different groups bring me pretty bad-assed graphics packages with the full, official team artwork, color specs, and usage specs along with a copyright release letter.
Okay, thanks for all the thoughts and yes, the mistake was my fault completely....just a typo that didn't get caught.
Doug, renting the other PO Box sounded like a great idea but it was already rented and they couldn't have used it anyway, they have to use the address the campaign in registed...
Had a customer running for a County Commission seat come in to order 20 pair of magnetics. All he had for the artwork he needed to match was one t-shirt left over from his last campaign. He didn't want to leave it so I scanned it while he waited.
I pulled the scan into FlexiSign, set up the...
Hi. I'm that guy. A couple of weeks ago I had the "graphic designer" for a local bar call me to see what format I needed his "artwork" in. Fifteen minutes into trying to explain file types and resolution I gave up and just to bring me anything and I'd convert it.

Your problem is that your customer doesn't perceive the wrap working for five years. Most customers are in the mindset that they have to be "doing" something for advertising to work. They pay the monthly yellow page bill....they're "doing" their advertising for that month. They pay the local...
Damn. Looking at that truck and their website they really, really need to talk to somebody about branding. That wrap design won't help sell their product and their website looks like a high school kid did it.
Woods, ask any lawyer out there and they'll tell you the same thing....a signed "hold harmless" agreement is little more than your admission that what you were doing was wrong.
