  4. Logo and Name combined whatcha think

putting eveything aside and looking at the logo, I would say it doesn't work as there are just too many special effects. it never really works to use something for a letter in a word no matter what it is. the cross could work as it is, at least "t" shaped but with the fish, it is just too...

that's what my Canadian husband says too! thanks to all of you for all the help. I have a box of different shaped "keys" and will try them the next time I get one of these things to letter. it sounds like I can't mess it up and remove something I can't replace without a ton of work and that...
  8. remove rivets... how?

the ones I had had were dome shaped, approx .5" or so in diameter with a indent in the center that looked like it might need a special "key" type bit to unscrew, was that a screw or is that a rivet? can I tell by looking a it or do I need to try to unscrew it and if it comes out it's a screw...

I did a search as I remember Flame saying he removes all the rivets from a trailer when he works with one but what I'd like to know is how do you remove them? I did a trailer yesterday and would have loved to remove the rivets in some of the areas where I applied vinyl (it wasn't a wrap, just...

Hi from across the border and down south a little! I haven't been up that way much in the past few years and wish there was a place down here to get a good smoked meat sandwich, a poutine and a cup of Hortons!

    1. what made you want to be a sign maker? was an out of work screen printer back in the early 1980's and saw an ad for a screen printer for a sign shop. 2. did you start off by doing hand painted or vinyl signs? I started doing screen printed signs and then worked with vinyl, hand cutting...

I did some signs for a state park up my way so I too have to deal with weather from hell. I too used the brown reflective and have signs that have been up for a few years now with no issues. first off was the aluminum cleaned really good? there's a layer of greasy black gook on raw...

very nice, but then you always do such nice work!
  18. Which way is up?

+1 if you can have the bulbs run horizontally, it works better for all the reasons above. also, there should be a UL decal or at least some type of manufactures decal which would give you a clue what side it up.

all the best to you, Jeff and your family!!!!
  20. Possible Company Logo?

there seems to be a look for this type of business and what you did is fitting. it's like you epxect to see a skull and rose on every tatoo shop sign, red and yellow on every Chinese restaurant and what you did on every wrap shop. that isn't a bad thing as it does tell the public what and who...
