can you expalin how to run the feed comp? I saw that today when hitting funtion while in remote. it said -20 yet I was set for 0 on media comp, are they related? How do you change that number at that point without toasting the graphic?

Yes it is set correctly. I just finished printing something very small and I actually used a 2 pass. I then opened a previously saved file and in the rip and print it is still set for 2 pass bidirectional which is also wrong as I printed uni.

Really! so if you make this big change while printing, do you have to reset it for the next print or thats it for that material. How high have your changes been? i have gone at -46 for banners and rarely need anything in the pluses. I guess every printer is different and unique.

My Mimaki will do that with the photo paper, but in those cases I know it actually needs more heat and the preheat has to be lower than the print heat. As noted here my lines diasapear after about 8 inches and it usually happens on lighter colours. I don't get it very often if at all on vinyl.

Yes you are right. If I right click on the job and hit properties it shows how it was printed. Now if I could figure out why the software keeps deleting the cut jobs after they are sent. I set the default to hold them but every few weeks I find it deleting them again, not sure what causes this...
