I use Photoprint 5 and sometimes run into issues from illustrator files.
This particular issue deals with the colour black. Designers use 100k only and I have to go in and chnage it to a richer cmyk to print properly. These files the way they design are sometimes devoid of a fill. I don't know...
There is a secutiry vinyl that when peeled breaks into small pieces but even that can be dealt with, I don't think there really is anything to stop something from being peeled off and if there was you could just wipe laquer thinner or vinyl thinner across it removing any graphic information that...
I don't know about you, but I have the same machine and the last thing I can do is print black by itself. Black on it's own looks like a brownish rust colour. If you have run out of yellow while printing an all black banner then the printer is using yellow . When I want to print a rich black I...
and whatever you do "never touch the heads with your hands" or thats what I was led to believe and ours is 10 years old and still on the first print head. If you need alcohol you have to make sure it is isopropyl and is 99% , don't use the 75% stuff is a nono too
I used to belong to one in my area and it was OK although I have to admit that standing up in front of the same group to tell them what you do every week felt awkward for me. In a large city like we are in a lot of the referals were just to far away to be able to compete competitvely for...

I have a 53" Graphtec cutter (4 years old) it's a workhorse and I love it except for this issue. I don't know what causes it and it doesn't always happen but when it does it's very frustrating. When running 48" material, if the plotter has to go back and forth several times for borders or...
I would keep everything else shut while printing large jobs. I use photoprint which is a flexi product and I have experienced those freeze ups, you might also want to see if there are any updates for your software.
