  3. Print Cuts are way off

My SP540V was acting up on contour cuts and the encoder strip was clean. I ended up removing the sensor to clean it, then re-install. Had to go through a bunch of testing and a couple linear calibrations, but it works decent now. IIRC I'm at 0.00mm scan and 0.02mm feed. Before I started it...

  14. Am I the only person having problems with Signs 365 Same Day production?

Gotta look at the whole supply chain. Printer may get it knocked out same day. Doesn't mean UPS or FedEx can't screw up. You're also ordering by computer an we all know they are far from perfect. We had a rush job earlier this year where our sub did it in record time. Only issue was the...
  15. SP540V Linear Encoder Setup

Encoder was dirty so it got pulled, cleaned, and reinstalled. When in Service menu it wouldn't let me do a linear encoder setup cycle. Which needed to be done since the cut was WAY off. I read, and reread the instructions. Systematically tried different methods to try and get it to work...

We use 8" poly tubing right now. Works well for most everything we do. Real nice for bagging banners.
