  1. Just In Lowe's is now competing with signs

I just received my 23 & me DNA back from the spit I sent in. Turns out I have a lot of Neanderthal in my DNA. Maybe my Neanderthal ancestors were wiped out by competition from humans. Probably when the Gerber first came out and then all the plotters and inkjet printers should have been a warning...

Maybe it's your FaceBook page doing it.
  3. Just In Lowe's is now competing with signs

Oligarchs, serfs, Communism, college education and social wefare subjects. All out of Lowes selling signs. Wow, we have some smart people on here to get all that out of a sign display at Lowes. I never ask for information from an employee in the big box stores, next time I am in there, going to...

  6. Is harbor freights $100 flux welder enough to weld aluminum coil to dibond?

If your making channel letters you won't want to use epoxy or ACM. You should just buy them wholesale and take the profit and slowly build up some tools to fabricate them. A pots and pan break, metal shear, spot welder and a CNC router would be a good start.
  7. Is harbor freights $100 flux welder enough to weld aluminum coil to dibond?

Why not just epoxy the ACM to whatever you want to attach. That thin aluminum on the ACM would not hold anything and the weld would cause a hole in the thin aluminum. Take it to a welder and have them try it before you start spinning your wheels. Sounds like with the break and welder you are...

  12. How Long?

Just received approval on a 4x6x6mm ACM construction site sign with architect rendering of finished home with heavy copy this afternoon. Will start Monday and have everything dug in with #2 4x4x8 wood posts by Wednesday or Thursday. I usually have about 5-15 projects going at the same time. I am...

  15. Artist wants to cut...

"Also, sorry you've gotten some shamefully snarky answers from our community - hope you found what you were looking for regardless" We like to call it organic humor on here not snarky.
  16. Artist wants to cut...

Yea, I am going to start calling them "free range shapes". It's part of the artist's jargon, makes it more expensive.
  17. Artist wants to cut...

So my children's children will be able to see Keith Patton's artwork without paint cracks because it was on ACM in their future trip to the museums? There are a lot of other reasons paint cracks on wood panels or canvas. Binders in the oil paints when painted, fat over lean method not followed...
  18. Rubber trailer tarps and vinyl

If you have a premonition of this being a headache. Then take your own advice and pass on it.
  19. Rubber trailer tarps and vinyl

If you have the table space it would be faster and cheaper to make a screen and move it to where you need it and screen it. Faster than cutting out vinyl, weeding and applying. But the tablespace to let ink dry after screening it would be a problem. I think NazDar 9700 ink or their vinyl inks...
