It looks like the yellow/magenta head can be recovered and usable but that black is going to be a problem which affects the cyan as they share the same head on that machine. It all depends on what quality you are willing to let jobs leave your shop. The black in this test print will most likely...
Set the rendering intents for Vector and Bitmap to the same setting and that should get rid of the box. I'm not sure where that is in Versaworks but maybe someone who uses that software more can guide you in the right direction.

What model are you working on? If it's a Valuejet I would start by checking the dampers. Usually when 1 color or channel is having issues it will be a bad damper on those machines. It wouldn't hurt to install a new cap top as well to rule that out. If you have air in the cyan ink line...
Usually when the test print "bends" like that there is an electrical issue (signal timing) or you had a really bad head crash and the nozzles are physically damaged. Try re-seating the head cables and check for any damage or ink debris on the leads. Otherwise you could have a bad head, cable or...
It's a partially clogged nozzle. Nothing too big to worry about and it may recover on it's own. I wouldn't go trying to flush the head or anything as this should not affect your print enough to take the risk. Make sure your wiper is nice and clean and check the bottom of the head for any ink...
I think it has something to do with the way your lines are aligned and how the software you are using is interpreting it. If you go into the stroke options there should be a setting to align the stroke in the center, the inside or the outside. It looks like you are aligned on the inside which...
I opened it in Illustrator CS3 and your lines are not actually lines. It looks like you expanded them. If you zoom in close you can see that your lines are actually super long skinny geometric shapes rather than a single line.
We have overstocked the Orajet 3268M 30" wall vinyl and have cut the price to move this vinyl. These normally sell for around $130 per roll so if you are in need of wall vinyl, get them while they last! Click here to order
It's pretty common for a cap top to go bad on used machines after they are flushed and sit for a little bit. It looks like it worked a little bit but it is probably pulling a little bit of air which is causing the pump to not be able to pull at full force. Give us a call and we can help...
Ok, it should be pretty straight forward then. Follow these steps below:
- Turn the machine off. Now hold the Up, Right and Down button wile turning the machine on. You can let go when a menu item shows up on the screen.
- Hit down to scroll through the menu and find "Check 3: Ink Charge" Hit...
We will need to know what state the printer is in to help you best. When you turn the printer on, what does the screen say? Don't worry. Turing the machine on without ink isn't going to hurt anything.
If you can manage to build the file so that the white ares are actually clear/no color that is going to fix the issue without having to mess with profiles. Some profiles interpret white as being slightly cyan or gray from what I have seen and it is because the profile is thinking the vinyl's...
It looks like Graphtec still carries the maintenance parts for that machine. Here is a link to that part in their online store: Cut Strip FC7000. Temporarily you can cover the strip with electrical tape and it may run well for a little while.
Check the cut protection strip that runs along the length of the machine right underneath where the blade moves back and forth. If you have big grooves cut into the strip it can cause issues like this. Other than that it could be the solenoid is failing and Graphtec doesn't carry parts for that...
I would change the capping station. A syringe pulls much harder than the pump does. This makes it so that when you pull with the syringe, the cap will seal due to the extra force pulling the seal shut. Your problem probably originated with a bad cap top and it took a while for the symptoms to...
You tell the machine to print crop marks in the RIP. You may have your original setup set to print crop marks as a default but didn't set up the new printer for the same default setting.
