  4. How to glue coroplast together?

Ok, what I am doing is making some a-frames out of 10 mil coro. At the top is where 2 pieces attach to form the handle and hinge. I do appreciate the input on the silicone, but I do not trust silicone to last longer than the bank takes to clear the check. I installed residential windows in the...

  6. Wow 2 more hours of design time

Just spent two hours with a customer finalizing his wrap design. Move this, move that, make that a little smaller, no little bigger, ect. You know what I mean. The funny thing was when the dumb a$$ was done I opened the first design on my second computer to compare the original and what he...
  7. Vista Print another threat

You need to eat your wheaties, if you can't tear vista prints magnets. All of vista print products suck in my eyes. I have had magnet material from rite-media crack, but that is why I now only use magnum magnets. Vista print will most likely always try to compete, but when you have samples of...

  10. Kwik Kopy Design & Print Centre

I recently switched suppliers of our printed paper products. I went with Tim over at Kwik Kopy Design & Print Centre after viewing one of his videos of his new business card slitter. He does amazing work, the color was perfect and the cards were cut exactly in the same spot EVERY card! Great...

  12. Heat setting?

John 1 is probably right! Ultaflex is very forgiving and absorbs really well. I believe the heat adds to the absorption of the ink, not the carrier(solvent). Add a fan on the floor to disapate the solvent. Bruce
  13. Question for Coro Screen Printers

I would love to switch over. No more drying times, faster to do multi colors or double sides, and ink does not dry on the screen. From what I have read uv lighting system has to be just right or it is not cured, or at the other end ink becomes flakie and scratches easily. UV ink is more...

  16. Encoder strip Issue

Artbot The print was heading to the right (towards the capping station). It would then stop as the print would be at the margin and could not proceed. I have flipped the encoder strip and am now trying to set it back up in the service mode. 1. LINEAR ENCODER CHECK. 2. CALIBRATION (SCAN...
  17. Encoder strip Issue

Thanks Guys I am trying to clean it some more. I did not know they could be just flipped. I will try that before taking it out of the mimaki.
  18. Encoder strip Issue

Well my cj500 is now printing side ways, and stops and say encoder issue. My question is are encoder strips a universal product. I have a mimaki jv2 that I could pull the encoder strip out of and install in the roland. They are both the same technology. I need the cj printing contour cut...
