Odd, I use the 3755 and it's cheaper then gf and Oracle air release variants.
Prints nice on my HP latex, well as nice as hp latex can print.
What are you comparing it to price wise?
MonkeyB0y thank you! Here is a summary of what is happening.
The printer appears to have trouble holding temps on the curing module, but not all the time. I've blown out the fans and made sure there isn't anything in there causing problems, I've wiped/clean the curing module on the outside...
Hey Folks,
Fellers has a pretty good sale on the 1624X, basically 50% off and including 2 year warranty, delivered and installed. Bringing the machine in at $9K.
I've not been happy with my HP Latex for any of our sticker printing due to the grainy prints, the 12 pl droplet size, etc.
Will...
Please tell us you took YOUR sample files to your HP dealer and had them print YOUR files on media that you would use? If you have not done this yet, you should stop and make sure you get this done.
Dropping $20K on a machine that you haven't printed your files on is foolish, and I'm being...
How the hell do your heads last that long? They are only warrantied for 1000 ml through each head, and my tiny little business is lucky to get 1200-1500 ml through them before they start to go and I have to replace them.
Funny story recently dealing with HP support...they had me replace most...
Yes you will, especially if they are viewed from a close distance.
If they are on a car and viewed from afar, no problem. If they are laptop or notebook type stickers stay away from the hp latex grain train machine and look at the Epson line, about the same price and so much better in terms of...
Do you use the dual wedge 45 degree blade from Summa or buy it elsewhere? https://www.airmark.com/collections/blades-bits/products/summa-45-dual-wedge-tangential-blade
I haven't tried that, but 50 bucks seems expensive. Then again, 200 bucks for 5 blades from them is also expensive.
That doesn't look like it supports the T model of the summa cutters. This is the blade holder for the tangential blades https://www.airmark.com/collections/blades-bits/products/tangential-blade-holder.
I got rid of my FC8600-130, and don't miss it one bit compared to running the Summa cutters...
hi Richard, official 36 degree blades from Summa for the T cutters (https://www.airmark.com/collections/blades-bits/products/summa-36-tangential-blade-5-pack).
And yes, I measure the depth of the blade each time I change them, still doesn't make a difference. Also use the same amount of turns...
Unfortunately not, with the Summa you have to unscrew the holder and pull it out, remove blade, push new blade into holder and then screw it all back in.
And yes everything we do has a perf cut on it, one of the advantages of the Summa is perf cutting is all done with one pass, unlike Roland...
Hey All,
I've got 2 Summa cutters, a S75T and S140T. I use original Summa blades and cutting strip replacements, but I dread having to change my blades and cutting strips every few months. There is no consistency after I change things out.
1. Removing the blade holder, I count the number of...
Hey All,
I have an HP 310 that is giving me sensor/fan/curing errors and aborting jobs, I'd much prefer to pay a tech outside of HP to come and take a look at it and fix it if possible then give HP another penny.
Send me a message if you are interested.
Summa all the way. You can do contour cuts and perf cuts without changing anything. Send and walk away and come back and popout the product.
With the graphtec, after contour cut you have to pop the blade holder, take it out, drop in other slot, and resend your perf cut job. Then move it back...
Substance 3755, it's a polymeric vinyl. I moved away from GF to these guys only. Air release, which they call flo.
It's not 6 mil, closer to 4 but I love this stuff and run a bunch of it through my latex.
They have thicker vinyls too if you want to spend more.
Based on release dates of their eco-solvent printers? When were these things released? Slow based on experience, at least with the JV150 model - on high quality it was painful to watch it print. The quality was ok, Epson was better based on our files that we had printed on both machines.
