Dang..How did you get 3M to turn around so fast and replace your lam? Takes weeks to get ahold of someone here. Normally you have to talk to a 3M Rep on material failure after installations not your distributor rep. Glad you got it fixed.
Water Oxidation? Even the slightest bit to where you can not see it can cause vinyl not to stick well. Also it does not take $1200 in vinyl to do that boat.
gradients in flexi = nightmare.
Try either flattening the file and ripping as a tiff or if you have photoshop try creating the gradient in photoshop and seeing if that fixes your gradient step issues.
You mind sharing more info on this? So do you not want CMYK Postcript checked in CMYK files when saving eps files? I keep altering file settings to try to improve color but could be hurting myself more than helping.

If people stopped using it then we may see results but everyone here complains about it but yet they use it daily because the superior film it is so in 3M eyes they probably see nothing wrong cause It is probably still the top selling film in the industry.
