If they are plastic, be careful not to break them pulling. If they are cast or flat cut metal just yank em out.

Many of the supply houses are now offering a velcro strap that you can put around the media. Transfer tape works just as well. I use the velcro straps because they were given to me by our supply house. Before that I used transfer tape.

I don't like having to go back into the media explorer and turn off all of the media I don't use after an update. I am not complaining, I think VersaWorks is great! With the few changes mentioned above, it could be outstanding.

What kind of profile are you guys using to print onto the lam? I have never done it before, but I am getting ready to and I think I am going to start with Versaworks Clear Calendered Vinyl......any thoughts?

I think the font used for Political Debate along with the animals and the arrow are all on the cartoon side. Everything else is the opposite. Different font left justified, arrow with straight edges, and maybe the simple outlines of the animals that are more common. That is just my 2 cents...

Here is a GMC that we recently did. We took the door moldings off, which was not hard. Getting all of the black adhesive tape of was a pain in the back side. It is a clean look if you take them off. But if the client wanted them left on, then you got to do what they want. Wrap looks good...

I have yet to have a bad head on our XC-540 (knock on wood). Our test prints have never looked like that. Maybe there is a hair or fiber on one of the heads. Do a manual cleaning and take a swab with some cleaning fluid and gently.....very gently wipe the head. Only use one swab per head so...

I understand this, I just wanted to make sure that it was a standard black, not a metallic or something else altogether since it was before I knew anything about vinyl.

Have a customer we do lots of work for send me a PO today calling for Spar-Cal Black 2001. I have never heard of this brand, so I called the customer and they said the last time we did a job using that vinyl was in 2004, and now they are adding to it and want to match it. 2004 was 4 years...
