  1. Do you 'tag' your signs?

    Same here.
  2. Shrinkage - yes....

I have seen this issue on a few printers over the years, but never as drastic as you described--losing 6.5" on an 84" print. It's usually a media comp issue or the material feeding differently as the roll diameter and weight decreases. It sounds like you have something else going on.
  3. Printing a pantone swatch.

In Flexi, open the Pantone palette you wish to work with. Go to View>Create Swatch>Current Palette. You will be able to choose the number of rows, columns, size of text labels, etc and create a custom, sequentially-numbered Pantone table for printing, etc.
  4. How do I break apart after masking?

    This is your answer.
  5. Oracal 651 for trailers

I use cast vinyl on vehicles...period.
  6. Iphone 4s or Samsung galaxy s3

My wife loves her S3. I've had an iPhone and many Droids, and they all do basically the same stuff. As mentioned, if you already have Apple products the iPhone will play nicer with them. But both are great products.
  7. Ufc 148

Spoiler alerts aren't necessary for events/programs that have already aired. What did you think you were going to read about in a thread titled UFC 148?:banghead:
  8. how to match a bitmap black with a spot black

I would try this. If the blacks still don't match due to variance in Vector and Bitmap rendering, you can then rasterize the whole thing. Should work for a quick and dirty fix.
  9. Shovelhead Show on FB

You can also choose to only see "important posts" from any certain friend so that you aren't inundated with every post they make.
  10. Images are all square ?

Just to throw another option out there: you can create your cut path in Photoshop and Export Paths to Illustrator. Import the resulting vector path into Flexi and Arrange>Make Contour Cut. There are several ways to do this. All involve creating a vector path and making it a contour cut.
  11. 3m 8518

I can barely sever that bond with my hands--that is one of my major gripes with 3M print media. I had a large job that I wanted to run overnight last night, but I could only print half because I was afraid of running too close to the end of the roll. :frustrated:
  12. Possibly greatest elec. guitar solo ever? PRINCE!

I've always thought Prince was underrated as a guitarist. Love some of the guitar work/solos on earlier stuff like "Purple Rain", "Beautiful Ones" and "Let's Go Crazy."
  13. Gradient problem

You can create Blends in Flexi between two colors and choose the amount of steps--255 max I believe. But that is not a gradient option. You can also choose the smoothness of gradients in the Flexi RIP, but that wouldn't effect what the graphic looks like on the screen prior to RIPing as shown...
  14. It's 100º out...why would everything go smoothly.

I feel you. I had to get out of the shop and do some installs this week. It is hot, and the ground is dry and hard.
  15. mmm home made crab cakes :)

Yeah, they are still around. I just rarely eat fast food anymore and definitely no milkshakes. But they are tasty.
  16. mmm home made crab cakes :)

That looks incredible, Gino. Haven't been to Purple Cow in years.
  17. whats ya hobby

Me too. I've dabbled in different hobbies over the years, but cooking has been the one constant for me.
  18. Font ID Request

New Baskerville it is. Thank you both for taking the time to respond. :signs101:
  19. Font ID Request

    Can anyone identify this font?
  20. Flexi 10 conture problem

Do you have Production Manager set up to take orders from the PM or from the plotter? Where are you setting the pressure? You see where I'm going with this?
