Ok now Im getting a "error code 50 media sense" on my Mimaki JV3-160. Ive consulted the manual and tried repositioning the media nine ways to sunday but no go. Does anyone out there have a solution or explanation?

Not booting
I had the battery go out on our CJV30-160 and it wasnt even that old. Took off the back panel and replaced and was good to go. I just wanted to throw that out there as it may or may not be of any help but who knows in the future?

I have had a simular problem. It was in the beginning of the print where the vinyl warmed up and the roller made a indentation. Is your problem different in the sense that the roller mark continues throughout the print? Perhaps it is a dirty roller and could be cleaned with rubbing...
