Stop and start I do not have a perfect answer but I have had a roll of banner material so sticky that it caused the motor to time out and was forced to rollout enough material to get the print done when I reprinted.

Stop printing I have had that happen on our CJV30-160 and its only a year or so old using Onyx. Now I have had a different problem with sticky banner material stressing the motor until it timed out, tech said the motor couldnt handel it so just pull out the needed material and hope for a better...

soaking I have one of those as well and soaking overnight did something for a dried up head. I have heard of using a syringe to force cleaning solution through the head. Good luck! Keep us posted.

Caldera We are using Onyx on our Mimakies and I do not enjoy it but we are using Caldera on our HP XP2700 and its a dream. I cant wait for the techs to install Caldera at my work station. Onyx takes forever to rip!

Well after printing blocks of yellow it finally cleared up and my JV3-160SP is back to normal! Thank you for advice and knowledge!

We just got a used HP XP 2700 that uses CALDERA ripping software. I am interested in anyones opinion and experiences using this as I have been using ONYX on our MIMAKIS and may eventually be using CALDERA on the MIMAKIS. Thank you

I am using a JV3-160SP and am getting thin blank/white lines in the print. I have checked media comp and that looks fine, I have done test prints and they are fine, all lines are present and none are crooked or broken. I have noticed that certain profiles lessen the effect but I lose bright...
