  1. HP Latex users

Nope, onyx 10.1. Maybe that's why I cant get 8 pass to look halfway decent or dry lol
  2. HP Latex users

To be honest, every profile I've downloaded from a manufacturers or distributors website for this machine is pretty much garbage.

Want to share your 8 pass vinyl profiles?
  4. Lubricating oil for 26500

$208 per quart seems about right for lightweight synthetic oil. Thanks HP
  5. L26500 and caldera problems

For the bowing, try using vinyls that have at least a 90 pound paper liner. I know some of the less expensive rolls have an 80 pound or 82 pound liner which is more prone to warping under the heat.
  6. How to apply wrap to the roof?

is it the extra glossy 970ra? I had difficulty with that one too. Its extra thick, and does not stretch at all. Also the adhesive is stupendously aggressive. Pieces that I just rested on glass left adhesive behind when removed.
  7. Front-adhesive techniques?

This is the best solution. Works great for little stickers/decals and larger, more complicated designs.
  8. Applying vinyl to rear of round tanker?

I did about 20 of these kind of trucks once. We oversized the print a good bit and had 4 guys(one on each corner) stretch and pull it over. Using 3m180(or similar) of course.
  9. L25500 Substrate Presets

Exactly. I use the length tracking for my medias, so it would be great to have options for gloss, matte, 3m...etc instead of "self-adhesive"
  10. L25500 Substrate Presets

Is there a way to add more or customize these? I'm talking about the handful of generic presets you choose from when loading substrates on the machine. Maybe I'm missing it on HP's labyrinth of a website.
  11. Flexi 8.1 Project Manager Polling

Running a VMWare Virtual machine with XP in the background to run my cutter. Not the best solution, but it works.
  12. Grimco Sucks again

Receiving metals from them like that made me never order from them too. But now that they've taken over Proveer here in Tampa I have no choice now.
  13. Flexi 8.1 Project Manager Polling

Same problem for me. I'm using an older summa D120 via USB. I have summa's USB drivers installed as well. Sometimes the only thing that works is unplugging the USB and putting it back in. I've tried running production manager as admin, and every combination of compatibility mode.
  14. L25500 For your information

These are the longest lasting heads I've had in my machine: 4 - Yellow-Black 10440 ml 1045% 5 - Magenta-Light magenta 9090 ml 910% All other heads are at 5000-6000ml too. Nozzle check print is perfect on all of them. Only change them when they start missing!
  15. Cloudy 3M 8518

What liner does this have? The coated paper or clear poly? I've noticed rolls I get that have the paper liner have this mottling, but the new clear liner doesn't have this problem. (although it is a bit difficult to get off/setup in the laminator)
  16. L25500 Print Head Issues

Its good customer care. It is nice to get replacements right away, even if you have stock. Right now I stock 2 carts of each color and 2 heads each color. Some people don't really want to keep nearly 2 grand of inventory "just in case".
  17. L25500 Print Head Issues

I'm running some beta firmware now that addresses an issue with media length tracking I was having. HP techs and customer service have been top notch for me. They even send me free inks and heads for my troubles.
  18. L25500 Cleaning Kit Replacement

I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not. If you can explain to me why I should pay $30-$40 for a 2 quart bucket filled with polyester fluff, then I'll start buying them.
  19. L25500 Cleaning Kit Replacement

Yeah, zip tie a gallon jug under the drain hose and don't waste money on a fancy HP bucket.
  20. L25500 Cleaning Kit Replacement

119% for me after a 200' run. lol, not recommended!
